One to one lesson details
Lesson content is structured in two ways, the learner's interests and aspirations and recommended books covering the following subjects:
• Bass guitar scales & Arpeggios
• Ear Training
• Session Styles
• Theory
• Improvisation
• Reading (optional from RGT grade 6+)
References are available from current and previous students.
Syllabus: Recommended books & Registry of Guitar Tutors Bass Grades 1-8
The RGT exams are awarded by the London School of Music Exams and can be used as entry qualifications into Further & Higher Education. For more information please see: http://www.registryofguitartutors.com
Other benefits include: improved technique, greater live performance confidence, or simply provide some fun for players wanting to improve their bass playing by expanding their knowledge and technique.
Location: Private bass guitar lessons are provided from my studio in Leyland, Lancashire, PR26 8NY or lessons at home can also be arranged.
Lesson Frequency: This is down to student’s learning objectives. For those with a target in mind such as reaching Grade 4 within a set period, weekly lessons are recommended. For more long term goals or for students traveling further afield hourly lessons once a fortnight may be more suitable. Children may prefer weekly half hour lessons.
Prices: Start from as little as £15 for a 30 minute one-to-one bass guitar lesson.
Lesson Terms :
· All lessons have to be paid for a week in advance.
· Lessons cannot be cancelled.
· However if a minimum of 72hrs notice is given the lesson can be re-arranged.
· Re-arranged lessons have to be within the same week as the original lesson.
· If the tutor has to re-arrange a lesson, then it will be re-arranged for a date at the student’s convenience.
