Bass Guitar Lessons - Designed for Experienced Players
Are you looking for one-offer sessions or short courses to sharpen up your bass playing?
It can be difficult finding a bass guitar tutor who’s also an experienced player - there aren’t many of us around. In the past, some students have had to settle for a guitar teacher who’s just played a bit of bass on the side.
I’ve always played bass – it’s been my first love since I was 12 years old. And since training as teacher in my early twenties, I’ve been really pleased to be able to offer a specialist bass tuition service. I know there are a lot of bass players out there who need a little bit of advice or a couple of focussed lessons to help them out – but they’ve not been able to find the right tutor locally.
Just need a one-off 1hour lesson? No problem.
Most experienced players aren’t looking to have lessons week in and week out – you don’t need them. But maybe you’ve wanted a one-off lesson (or a short course) just to help iron out a few issues?
I can offer individual sessions tailored around what you want or need to do, anything from:
- Losing a bad habit and picking up correct technique
- Increasing playing speed or reducing the amount of effort involved in playing
- Reading music
- Ear training
- Mastering a particularly difficult riff
- Overcoming performance nerves
- Trying out a new music genre
- Learning a new technique
