My name is Nick Carey and I’ve been playing and teaching bass for many years. And in that time I’ve learned there’s no ‘one lesson fits all’. Bass lessons need to be as individual as the student.
I’ve never forgotten what it’s like to be a beginner and I know how important it is to just start playing and keep motivated. From the very first lesson I’ll help you master a great bass riff. And because I’m qualified in both music and as a teacher you will get the best of both worlds.
At your pace, I’ll help you master complicated grooves, hone techniques and give you the ability to just pick up a sheet of music and play. Many of my students have gained the confidence to form bands and now play live regularly. And nothing feels as good as the feeling you get from playing in front of an audience
